Broken Art

throughout my artwork i tend to focus on the side i see as reality.
Broken heart's, torn tissue the flesh behind the glow. i cannot and most likely will never paint a scenario panned out with a perfectly happy family sitting in their perfect little world eating their perfect food.
It's not reality.
I have always idolized Tim Burton for this reason, he has or had a touch melancholic sadness that seamed out of his movies these characters that looked near suicidal, ones that never fitted in. and i think that's why i had always been fascinated with his artwork was because i feel that i can connect to those characters in one way or another. dark thing's they just fascinate me man, that's reality.
I'm not going to hide inside when its raining, rain is beautiful to me, I'm going to get wet i want to freeze i want to see those beautiful neon lights reflect off of the streets amongst the soft copious fog.
It's life.
