A strong silhouette?

I have come across some strong ideas for a good silhouette and some nice design choices overall.
To create a monster, a truly horrific monster there are many ways to go about it. One of the most popular methods is to apply a sort of sexual deviance to forms of anatomy on the monster.
Simply by hinting that somthings their, the viewer will get a sense of uncomforting. Commonly used in H.R gigers work and in games like silent hill.
I have found another commonly used method is to create things that are completely symmetrical with each other. For example a face that's exactly identical on both sides.
